With the purpose of increasing the qualitative level of the tourist experience and diversifying the entertainment offer at one of Italy's most glamorous destinations, the client Smeralda Holding has entrusted Filmmaster Events with the full construction and management of Waterfront Costa Smeralda, for the three-year period spanning 2018-2020. During its first season, the exclusive and elegant "waterfront salon" in the Marina area of Porto Cervo immediately became a reference meeting point for Costa Smeralda guests, thanks to the presence of internationally acclaimed brands and a rich programme of events.

Filmmaster has transformed a 3,600 m2 area, with breath-taking views of the most luxurious vessels and private yachts moored in the Porto Vecchio area, into a fascinating open-air temporary store designed by the architect Giò Pagani. With its structure in black iron, wood and glass, even the smallest of details make all the difference, from material research to technological infrastructure, with meticulous attention to every single aspect.

Compared to the 2018 edition, which attracted over 180 thousand visitors and featured a programme of events structured around the storytelling of "ideas and contents" by celebrities, writers, musicians and sportsmen, in summer 2019 Waterfront Costa Smeralda was dedicated to high-end music. International artists performed on stage throughout the summer, including Morcheeba, Joe Bastianich and his band, Planet Funk, Bowland, Sophie Auster and Daddy G, from Massive Attack.

The new season hosted a large number of showrooms of big international fashion, design and technology brands such as Bentley, BMW, De Grisogono, Deodato Arte, Dolce&Gabbana, Jaguar Land Rover, Riva, San Lorenzo, Technogym, Mastercard, as well as the Nikki Beach lounge-bar, along with an area dedicated to tourist promotion of the Arzachena Municipality - Arzachena Turismo - and a programme of initiatives for children with Warner Bros characters.

Filmmaster Events also designed the institutional logo of Waterfront and developed the coordinated image for the entire season, which picks up on the fluorescent themes with allusions to local vegetation, featuring on furnishings and all video contents of the led walls located at the entrance to the facility.

Waterfront Costa Smeralda is a three-year high consultational content project for which Filmmaster provided its outstanding experience in complex project management and in the creation of quality visitor experiences. All this at the service of tourism, a sector increasingly looking to involve the public through emotions and storytelling, providing memorable experiences in order to attract a new and broader range of visitors.
